Chakwal: According to Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar and RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali, under the leadership of DPO Chakwal Captain (retd) Wahid Mahmood, the Police Service Center, Police Protection Center and Police Trust Center Outbound Facilities Report. Chakwal Police, according to the public friendly police, now Chakwal Police is not only working on crime and criminal people, but Chakwal Police has now become the messiah of the poor and helpless society, under which the Police Protection Center was built in Chakwal like the whole province. The police service center and the Mishaq center are leading in the service of the people.

Police Protection Center

Police Protection Center Chakwal was founded on 28 March 2023 at Chakwal 15 Chowk, in which Neelam Iqbal, a transgender, was appointed as the focal person so that any section of the society can come without hesitation for their problems.

Objectives of Police Protection Centres

The purpose of protection centers is to provide support and protection to such people in the society such as transgenders affected by violence, accountability, prejudice and negative behavior, homeless and helpless children suffering from social inattention, special people suffering from mental disabilities, drug addicts and others. For the protection of young children trapped in the mire of social evils, citizens deprived of basic human rights, Punjab Police has established protection centers across the province.

The first step

All 50 working NGOs, 10 technical institutes, 15 schools and colleges and heads of 05 hospitals across Chakwal district were invited and MOUs were signed with them to make Police Protection Center more functional.

  1. Distribution of wheelchairs to disabled people

  Deserving disabled persons who came to the protection center were registered and 47 wheelchairs were distributed with the support of Bin Qutb Foundation. 2. Conducting computer courses for poor and deserving students.

On the special instructions of DPO Chakwal, a campaign was launched on social media to give employment to poor and deserving students, under which 30 students were given free computer courses such as freelancing, web developing, typing, editing and world page etc. Courses were conducted.

03. Facilities provided to transgenders

i. 06 number of transgenders were given free license learning, ii. 06 number of transgenders were given four times ration, iii. 09 number of transgenders were given financial assistance, iv. 02 number of transgenders were given private jobs, v. 04 number of transgenders were given accommodation. Accommodation was arranged for vi. FIR was registered on the request of 04 transgenders.

04. Treatment of drug addicts

Now the Chakwal police not only take legal action against drug addicts, but now the police also provide treatment to deserving drug addicts through their limited resources. Returned to a healthy life.

05. Admission of Afghan children to educational institutions

10 Afghan children were admitted to schools under the umbrella of Police Protection Center Chakwal.

06. Sponsorship of orphans

By supporting 05 orphan girls through Protection Center Chakwal, school fees were paid and they were admitted. 01 orphan girl was given a sewing machine for dignified employment.

07. Assistance to hearing and speech impaired persons

Police Protection Center Chakwal distributed 05 helmets and reflective stickers on their motorcycles to 100 hearing and speech impaired deserving people.

08. Giving jobs to unemployed children

With the efforts of Police Protection Center, 06 deserving girls were given private jobs.

09. Support and dignified employment of underage labor children

With the support of Rasti NGO, 15 children working in mines were rescued and given dignified employment.

10. Recovery of abducted children

Police protection center team recovered 01 child who was kidnapped and handed over to the family members.

11. Introducing the calves to their families

The woman who had been separated from her family for two years was found in Multan and handed over to her relatives.

Two siblings who were more than 80 years old and were away from their families who were introduced to their families.

12. Artificial organs

Prosthetic limbs were provided to 01 disabled child through Police Protection Centre.

03 challenged children of police employees were given artificial spotting organs.

13. Assistance to the homeless

Help was provided to 02 homeless people through Chakwal Police Protection Center.

14. Free courses

With the support of Chakwal Police Protection Center and Rasti NGO, 40 deserving girls were given Nauti pearls and sewing course.

Police Service Center

Police Service Center was established in Chakwal district on 30th December 2017.

Objectives of Police Service Centers

The purpose of the Police Service Center is to equip the public with such facilities that are generally provided at the police station level. The main purpose of the Police Service Center is to provide all special and general advice, waiting and corruption facilities so that the police and the public. Mutual trust should be restored.

Facilities provided at Police Service Centre

 Basically 14 facilities are provided at service center established across Punjab, these 14 facilities are provided under one roof.

  01. Character Certificate

The purpose of the character certificate is to verify the criminal record of any citizen, under which any citizen can get a job inside or outside the country.

02. Vehicle Verification

Police Service Center Citizens can get 15 to facilitate the purchase and sale of their vehicles through which the criminal record of the vehicle can be checked.

03. Loss of documents

Citizens can file a missing report of any of their essential documents.

04. General Police Verification

Citizens can enter their records before hiring a shop, house or any employee.

05. Registration of Tenants

By renting out a house or a shop etc., their record can be registered at the police service center.

06. Enrollment of domestic workers

Citizens can register their domestic worker's record at the Police Service Center

07. Legal guidance on violence against women

A lady police officer has been specially appointed at the Police Service Center to provide legal assistance and guidance to any woman victim of violence.

08. Driving Learner Permit

Citizens can get their driving learner permit anytime at the police service center to get their license

09. Renewal License

Citizens can renew their license at any time from the police service center.

10. International driving license permit

Citizens can renew their driving license abroad with an International Driving Permit.

Charter Centers

Introduction:. The establishment of contract centers in Chakwal district was brought on 28th August 2023.

Misthaq Centers are the Minority Rights and Interfaith Unit of the Punjab Police. Meetha Centers are established at the district level and in sub-divisions which have a large Christian/minority population and are units for improving Muslim-Christian relations. Especially young officers of Punjab Police belonging to the Christian community have been appointed.

Facilities provided at Mesa Q centers

So far, facilities have been provided to 53 Christian citizens at the Chakwal-ul-Misthaq center, out of which 10 Christian citizens have been given character certificate, 16 learner's permit, 04 drug addicts, 16 general visits, 05 complaints/requests, 01 missing report and 01 license renewal facilities. .
