Real face of India

India presents itself as an ideal secular state whereas this claim is totally opposite to reality and truth. The concept of an ideal country transcends borders and cultural differences. Although it is difficult to be completely idealistic, the claims must have some element of reality. Some attributes describe the nature of an ideal nation and offer guidance to countries that seek to create an environment conducive to the development of their citizens.

Internally India fails to embody the characteristics of an ideal country. Issues such as poverty, unemployment, injustice, environmental concerns and human rights abuses against minorities are clearly evident at the global level. The actions of India and its army in Occupied Kashmir are particularly worrying. Recent controversial bills passed in the Lok Sabha, including the Jammu and Kashmir Polls Amendment Bill, 2023 and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Amendment Bill, 2023, have also sparked fresh debate.

Under the Restoration Amendment Bill, 2023, seats in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly have been reserved for women candidates, including persons belonging to Pakistani Kashmir and displaced Kashmiri Pandits. The Reorganization Amendment Bill, 2023, includes the territory of Ladakh in the Union of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Home Minister Amit Shah falsely claimed a 70% reduction in violent incidents while linking Article 370 to separatism in his Lok Sabha address. He also criticized Prime Minister Nehru's decisions regarding the Kashmir issue, as a result of which the opposition Congress party staged a walkout.

All these facts reflect the Hindutva approach of the BJP government and bring the real truth and reality to the world.

An ideal country avoids challenging the sovereignty of other nations and refrains from interfering in the internal affairs of other nations.

Contrary to ideal country characteristics, India is engaged in interventionist activities in several countries using RAW as a tool to exert influence abroad. India's foreign intelligence agency, RAW, has long and secretly operated its nefarious covert operations on foreign soil. The agency has been involved in questionable activities abroad that violate the sovereignty of other nations.

RAW, officially known as the Research and Analysis Wing, serves as India's primary intelligence agency and is tasked with gathering intelligence and conducting covert operations beyond the country's borders. . Established in 1968, RAW's main mission is to protect India's interests and safeguard national security by acquiring information about external threats. However, several serious facts have come to light regarding Ra's activities abroad.

One of the persistent and serious charges against the RA is its alleged support for rebel groups and separatist movements in neighboring countries, with Pakistan at the fore. RAW has provided material and financial support to various insurgent and terrorist factions in Pakistan, which has increased regional instability. RAW is also involved in espionage cases in foreign countries, including gathering sensitive intelligence data and compromising the national security of other countries. India's relations with neighboring countries have been strained on several occasions due to these allegations.

RAW is involved in covert operations aimed at destabilizing governments and instigating political change in neighboring countries. Such actions violate the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations. The agency is also involved in subversive activities in foreign countries, including cyber attacks and acts of terrorism.

India and Pakistan are continuously involved in supporting terrorist activities inside Pakistan. Kulbhushan Yadav, a retired Indian Navy officer, was found involved in dangerous activities in Pakistan's Balochistan province and used to spy for India's secret agency RAW. Pakistani security forces arrested him on March 3, 2016 for espionage and involvement in terrorist activities in Balochistan and his arrest was based on information provided by the ISI.

Even before the World Trade Center incident, 'RAW' has been operating from the territories of other neighboring countries with the aim of destabilizing and weakening Pakistan. Pakistan has paid a heavy price for its role as an ally in the global war on terror, as well as enduring India's long-standing strategy of ethnic division. India has also used the territory of Afghanistan as a launching pad for activities against Pakistan. India is involved in anti-state activities across Pakistan, including in areas like Balochistan and KPK. As a result, unrest and conflict have been witnessed in these areas, which is attributed to India's patronage and support for terrorism in Pakistan.

For example, 22 lives were lost as a result of an explosion in Lahore's Johar Town last year. In a press briefing with officials of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), the then interior minister of Pakistan revealed, "We have concrete evidence that India was behind the blast." "During the investigation, it has been determined that the prime suspect in the incident was an operative of the Indian spy agency (RA) since 2012," a CTD officer said while talking to the media.

  Recent tensions between Canada and India have also gained global attention. A few months ago, Canada announced India's involvement in the killing of a separatist Sikh leader in British Columbia. This development has strained diplomatic relations between the two countries. In an emergency statement to the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asserted that the involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen was an "unacceptable violation of our sovereignty." Hardeep Singh Niger, 45, was shot dead outside a Sikh temple in Surrey on June 18, in a suburb of Vancouver with a large Sikh population. Najjar has openly advocated for a Sikh homeland in the form of an independent Khalistani state and was designated a "terrorist" by India in July 2020.

Canadian security agencies are actively investigating credible allegations pointing to a possible link between Indian government agents and Najjar's death, Trudeau said. He also mentioned raising the issue of the killing directly with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 summit in New Delhi and urged the Indian government to cooperate with Canada in a thorough investigation into the matter. Along with these developments, Canada also decided to deport India's top intelligence agent posted in its country.

 Recently, a court in Qatar also sentenced eight former Indian Navy personnel to death on charges of spying for Israel. Those convicted include Captain Nutej Singh Gill, Captain Birendra Kumar Verma, Captain Saurabh Vishisht, Commander Amit Nagpal, Commander Purindu Tiwari, Commander Sognakar Pukala, Commander Sanjeev Gupta and Sailor Rajesh. All these ex-Navy personnel were employed by Al-Dahra Global Technologies and Consultancy Services, a private company owned by an ex-Oman Air Force officer. The firm was responsible for providing training and various services to Qatar's armed forces and security agencies.

India's own people are also deeply affected by the true nature of India. For example, Sikhs are well aware of the reality of India and express their desire for a separate state. India is also involved in activities against Sikhs abroad while Sikhs are also resisting strongly. In a recent incident, a senior Indian diplomat, Taranjit Sindhu, was met with resistance and humiliation by pro-Khalistan Sikhs at a gurdwara in New York and had to leave the place of worship.

During the incident, excited Sikhs questioned Ambassador Taranjit Sindhu about his alleged involvement in the failed Indian plot to assassinate Sikh leader Grupatunat Singh Pinan. Panon is a prominent figure associated with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and the Global Khalistan Referendum Campaign. Pro-Khalistan Sikhs led by Humat Singh at Hickswell Gurdwara in New York also accused Sindhu of India's role in the killing of Hardeep Singh Najjar, president of the Surrey Gurdwara and coordinator of the Canadian chapter of the Khalistan Referendum.

The public's questions left the diplomat helpless and he had to leave the Gurudwara abruptly without providing an answer. Despite the tension and hostile activities of India, pro-Khalistan Sikhs have continued to fight for their rights. SFJ's General Counsel Gurptunat Singh Pinan, who was targeted in the failed Indian plot, asserted that despite India's efforts to thwart the Khalistan referendum, the voting will continue and the US phase will begin on January 28, 2024 in San Francisco, California.   Echoes of reaction from the United States have also been heard after the recent revelation of the foiling of the Indian plot to assassinate Groupont Singh Panon on American soil. According to the Financial Times (FT) report, the US authorities issued a warning to the Indian government for its alleged involvement in the conspiracy. The journal revealed that the Indian government was behind the plot that targeted Panon, a leading figure in the Khalistan referendum campaign. The US department is considering whether to drop the indictment and make the charges public or wait for the completion of a Canadian investigation into the murder of Hardeep Singh Najjar, a Canadian Sikh separatist linked to the case.

Additionally, India's intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), has reportedly stopped its operations on North American stations for the first time since its inception in 1968, according to sources. This decision came after an attempt by an Indian national to kill a prominent Sikh leader in New York.

Readers, in the light of these facts, the true face of India is becoming increasingly apparent to the international community. What is needed now is to put pressure on India to ensure the protection of human rights of minorities within its own country and to stop interfering in the affairs of other countries.
