Khatib al-Asr Maulana Syed Abdul Majeed Nadeem Shah

  Umar Farooq

The beauty of Shah Sahib's voice cannot be expressed in words, but this quality and grace can be felt by listening to it. Eloquence, eloquence, and melodious speech were the beauty of his speech. In his sermons, literature, style of argumentation and conversation were interrelated during the speech. He was very concerned about the health and well-being of the people. When the poems were recited with chants according to the occasion and place, the audience would become excited and in the same way, when they mentioned Allah, their moods would be ecstatic.

He used to recite the Qur'an in such a beautiful and sweet voice that the nature felt a strange expansion and serenity. His style was heart-warming and very impressive. He used to do it in such a rich tone that the audience wanted to continue reciting it. This is the reason that the pleasure of reciting the Qur'an would remain in the hearts and minds of the audience, they would also be tormented and thousands of people would also be tormented. Yes, we are talking about the Ambassador of Islam, Khatib al-Asr, Khushulhan Khatib and preacher Maulana Syed Abdul Majid Deem Shah, who has passed away for eight years.

Maulana Abdul Majidandim spread the thread of his mesmerizing voice all over the world, he visited many countries of 137 countries and he took the honor several times, there is probably no small or big city in Pakistan where he did not give a speech. In 2017/18, I was on a trip to Gwadar and there were old posters of Hazrat Shah Sahib in a mosque. He asked the imam of the mosque about this, and he said that the fishermen here were lovers of Hazrat Shah Sahib's speech. He continued to teach and propagate the correctness of beliefs and Tawheed and Sunnah.

For 55 years, Maulana preached the publication of Tawhid and Sunnah, rejection of polytheism and innovation, protection of the finality of Prophethood and protection of honorable Companions and Ahl al-Bayt, reform of society, unity of the Ummah, and he recited the Qur’an of Allah to the servants of Allah and taught them the religion. Put on the way. Hundreds of people accepted Islam at your hand. Hazrat Shah used to establish the issue of Tawheed in the hearts and minds of the people in a very simple and pleasant way. After explaining the problem of monotheism, he used to ask people in a questioning manner: Who is my Lord and your Lord? Then he used to reply by himself saying: Allah alone. Who gives respect? Allah is Who gives children? Allah is Who gives sustenance? Allah is He used to say: Tawheed is justice and polytheism is injustice.

A few months before the death of Hazrat Shah Sahib, along with respected Qari Sohail Ahmad Abbasi and well-known columnist Navid Masood Ashmi, I attended his shrine despite his illness. These words of Shah Ji were not liked at that time, but Hazrat Shah Ji did not say these words as criticism, but as pain in the heart and the life of Shaydan was ruined. Hazrat Shah Sahib said that

The importance of madrasahs cannot be denied, religious madrasahs are the backbone of the society, but despite all this there is a dire need for reforms in the curriculum of madrasahs. In Madrasahs, only rota is applied, mind-building is there, but human-building is missing. Alas, these days, not scholars, but scholars-like people are being prepared. Where there is knowledge, there will be humility, patience, tolerance, love and passion. Today, there is a competition between heads and minarets (who has more students and whose madrasa building is bigger). Ibn Taymiyyah, Shah Abdul Aziz, Shah Abdul Qadir, Abdul Rahman Jami, may Allah have mercy on him, why are they not being born? He said that madrasahs are engaged in preparing enlightened minds, although enlightened minds are needed in this age. Sometimes they perform ablution in Yamuna and change Qibla, while enlightened people are the ray of hope.

Besides being an orator, Hazrat Shah Sahib was also an excellent writer. He also authored several books, including Diyar Ghir to Diyar Habib, Nawa Darwish, Islam and Humanity, and sermons and essays. Commenting on the verse of the Holy Qur'an, Wala Thanwa Wala Tahznawa, etc., he said: "Do not be afraid of the hands of falsehood, for you are the exalted one, if you are a believer." Then he said: This is the basic spirit that is the key to success and exaltation. It is a promise that you reach the standard of faith and certainty, then see that your planning will become the foundation of Allah's destiny.

The disbeliever's recognition that he is lost in the universe

The glory of the believer that lies in him is far-reaching

Yes, that male believer! He who has a gray figure, but his flight is universal, he is the proof of Allah in his speech and actions, he appears to be a reciter but in reality the Qur'an, he is as soft as silk in the circle of friends, and he is confused between truth and falsehood, he is a neighbor Gabriel Amin. May he have the land of Samarkand and Bukhara among his stumbling blocks, he is penniless, but he has a mature look, he is far away from Ashanbandi, but full of sense and loyalty. Suz Siddique, Jalalat Farooq, Haya Usman, Waqut Haider's Bahramiq. It seems, the heir of the wisdom of Muawiya and Faqr Bu Zar is seen, he is not afraid of death, death is afraid of him, he is not afraid of the age, but he should make fun of the age.

Yes, yes, that man of faith, who covers the world with the strength of self, finds the secret of the color and smell of the place, is familiar with the seashore, but continues to draw the foot from the shore, the scent of Mustafa in his robes, the dripping of copper from his solitude, which makes the liver red. I am the coolness of the dew, the storm that beats the hearts of the rivers, Alexandria is in its stumbling block, Qalandari is in its essence, knowledge is its jewel, dream is its cloak, faith is its reward, pleasure is its pleasure. May he be rewarded, may righteousness be his burden, may martyrdom be his destination, may knowledge be his abode, may love be his pleasure, may he be wise enough to understand dusk and dawn, may he be enthusiastic such that he embraces the sun and the moon, may he be a source of wisdom, insight. Be Bilal and Sulaiman, may he be absorbed.

May your partner be without grief, your heart is sorrowful, your faith is strong, your speech is sincere, your character is sincere, neither in the crown nor in the army, whatever is in the court of Qaland, may the soul of the Amin sway over his concern. Let the warmth of his remembrance kiss the tablet and the pen, let him drink the blood of the liver even in great thirst; but let him not extend his hand in front of anyone, let him be in seclusion, row by row, prostrating himself, head high, He is a servant of the Almighty, but he is a representative of destiny. This is the believing man to whom Allah has given the good news of you.
