The Indian elections have been done, like us, nowhere in India has there been a noise like February 8 or so. The credit for conducting transparent elections in the world's most populous state is certainly on the Election Commission of India. I am also saying transparent elections because none of the two major parties, Congress and BJP, raised the noise of rigging. Before moving on, let's take a quick look at the election results. This time, the results of the 18th Lok Sabha (Legislative Assembly) of India were unexpected and interesting. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), an electoral alliance led by Narendra Modi's party BJP, won 294 of the 543 seats in the Assembly and made Narendra Modi the prime ministerial candidate again, thus in 1962. After Pandit Nehru, Narendra Modi will get the honor of being the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row. But the faces of the party workers and leaders who celebrated this victory at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi were filled with disappointment and depression instead of happiness. In comparison, the alliance of 27 parties "India" under the leadership of Indian National Congress (Indira Gandhi) has won 231 seats. Although the coalition of opposition parties has failed to get 272 seats required to form the government at the Centre, but nevertheless the Congress and its allied parties are calling these election results a big victory for themselves and a defeat for Prime Minister Modi. This is because before the elections, Narendra Modi made lofty claims about the success of his electoral alliance NDA, especially his party BJP. In the previous elections of 2019, the number of members of the government alliance was 353 and among them there were 303 members of BJP, but this time NDA has managed to get 295 seats in which BJP has 240 seats. Thus BJP has failed to get even a simple majority in the Lok Sabha. Now Narendra Modi will need the support of the coalition parties in the NDA to become the Prime Minister of India. These coalition parties include Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United), which won 12 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which won 16 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Narendra Modi can form the government at the center with the help of these two coalition parties, but the leaders of these parties, Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar, are considered unreliable due to frequent switching of parties. Therefore, even if Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister, he will be a weak prime minister because his government will need the support of his allies at every step.

Modi and his party had no illusions that they would have to face such a situation. He was sure that his vehicle of success, at the speed it has been running for the past ten years, will go full speed ahead in 2024 with an even faster speed than before and will leave the opposition far behind. Narendra Modi had claimed in the election campaign that he has made India the fifth largest economy in the world and now in the next five years he will make it the third largest economy in the world. Modi believed that he had secured 80% of the Hindu votes by building the Ram temple in Ayodhya, so he went "ab ki bar... char su par" i.e. 400 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. What was claimed? Interestingly, the mainstream media of India was also echoing the voice of Narendra Modi and after the polls were over and before the results came out, almost all the pollsters, except one half, unanimously voted for the NDA. announced the victory with more than 400 seats', this caused a wave of confusion in the opposition electoral alliance "India". Not only in India, but all over the world, the news of Modi's landslide victory with a huge majority was spread, but when the results started coming in, the map changed and instead of the Congress, there was mourning in the BJP camp. The BJP was also receiving news of defeat on fronts it had considered invincible.

In my opinion, it was happening because of the strong Election Commission that the incumbent government candidates were losing for 10 years, there were no complaints about using the influence of the government, somewhere there was pre-poll rigging or Form 47, and Form 47. 45 such problems were not faced. Seeing all this, there was happiness, surprise and depression. Happiness is because by being in the system and seeing a state develop, your faith in the system becomes stronger. But every institution there is working within its limits, I am not saying that there will be no recommendation culture, there will be no corruption, but the situation there is not so bad that Form 45 and Form 47 are a necklace around the neck of the Election Commission. Our culture is the same, our relationship is the same, our blood relation is the same, our genes are the same, but why is this happening to us? How will we reform? Believe me! But why are we so poor? Our situation today is that we are walking around with atomic bomb in one hand and money in the other. After 76 years, we gave access to the seat of Brigadier to any of the minorities. Why is this the case? We have to create a think tank to find out the reasons why we are going backwards. Why are our institutions unable to function within their limits? Otherwise we will be pushed too far back. Sometimes the sword of FATF will be on us and sometimes the sword of IMF and World Bank will be on us and sometimes we will face internal threats. Therefore, first of all, the Election Commission will have to be strengthened. So that people-friendly leadership can come forward. Let the chosen and the chosen come forth! This important political fact of India has also come to the fore with these election results that the overwhelming majority of Hindu population around 80% are against politics based on hypocrisy, hatred and intolerance on the basis of religion in India. Therefore, I am sure that our people also have the same kind of thinking, but if they are given a chance and if transparent elections are held, surely the destiny of this country can change!
